East Coast Groove announced the new programming for the upcoming 3rd Edition of the Defrost Festival. Defrost Festival is the only winter electronic music festival in Atlantic Canada and promises to bring back the heat during the two-day event that aims to celebrate electronic music and community in Atlantic Canada. The 3rd Edition will feature over 14 DJs and several visual artists fromacross Atlantic Canada. These are among the region`s most talented artists and will be profiled across several venues in Dieppe and Moncton. The musical line-up will deliver a wide-range of sounds including House,Techno, Tech-House, Dubstep, Drum and Bass and many more. The hope is that the event will help to profile local talent while highlighting the vibrancy and diversity of the electronic music community and culture across theregion. Defrost Festival will launch on Friday 31 January 2020 with a free,all-ages outdoor event as part of the “Fun on Ice” hosted by the City of Dieppe. Families and friends can enjoy outdoor skating, dancing and a winter circus performance while jamming to the hottest beats delivered by DJs Psycadelyx and Madvibz from 6:00 to 10:00pm. Following, people (19+)are invited to the Caveau for «The Night of the Living Bassheads» featuring DJs Ill Havoc, Stiles, Houseparty and Jay Wolfe.
We resume the festivities on Saturday 1 February 2020 with a 19+ all-night event at the Lions Club Moncton . Eight stellar DJs will keepfestival-goers dancing and grooving all night including Chris Bones, Big S,The Pagee, Ou` lala, Jason Savoie, Witchdoktor and Zyggz.
