With the Electric Island season six finale upon us, two things are clear: 1- this year was one of the most successful and attended summers to date, and 2- this year was one of the fastest summers to pass by! It’s hard to believe that we’re already gearing up for the two-day Labour Day edition, on Sunday, September 2 and Monday, September 3. Most mourn the Labour Day weekend, as it signals an end to the warmer days, but thanks to the absolutely stacked line-up that Electric Island has put together, the only feelings here are anticipation, wonder and joy! From one of dance music’s biggest names, Loco Dice, to the queen of techno herself, Nicole Moudaber, to Mobilee’s exquisite live performer Rodriguez Jr., the season finale boasts an incredible line-up of international talent.

Sunday, September 2 will welcome to the main stage dance floor destroyer Loco Dice, Belgian techno starlet Charlotte de Witte, a name who’s not afraid of risks, Danny Daze, Octopus Recordings artist Shelley Johannson, local house act Sean Roman and Toronto’s esteemed duo Night Vision.

The side stage will breath lush melodies from start to finish with one of dance music’s finest musicians Rodriguez Jr., the distinctly recognizable duo Nature of Music, an integral name amongst Toronto’s scene, Borzoo, and two Toronto favourites, Aleksandar Kojic and Alberto Jossue.

On Monday, September 3 head over to the main stage to catch a diverse blend of house and techno artists, including MOOD Records boss Nicole Moudaber, Dirtybird household name Justin Martin, Anjunadeep’s Lane 8, tech-house groover J.Phlip, Toronto’s diverse artists Gera and Alexander Harris.

The side stage will bear house music at its finest with Crew Love’s The Fitness & Pony, No.19 label head Nitin, Box of Kittens’ Jamie Kidd, Toronto’s seductive Filthy Gorgeous and Butorus. Join us for one last dance at Hanlan’s Point on September 2nd and 3rd!
