Mall Grab is putting out his first EP under his real name, Jordon Alexander, in March.

The two-track 12-inch is the second release on the Australian producer’s label Looking For Trouble, which he launched last year. It’s the first time he’s used his full name to release music.

In the press release, Alexander says that the two songs were written during “the most turbulent, formative and important” year of his life, and that they’re “about self-discovery, who I am and who I want to be.” The electro-influenced A-side, “More Than I Ever Thought I Could,” has been a regular set-ender at Alexander’s gigs, while the B-side, “The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter,” is a “melancholy instrumental journey” inspired by the novel and film of the same name.

This is Alexander’s first release of 2019. He says he’ll still be using the Mall Grab name for future releases.
