The German trance/techno legend recently spoke to MTV in Miami for the ultra music festival and it seems like he does not appriciate the way that Djs plays their sets specially Steve Aoki in the interview he said this:

“I’m not proud of that part of the edm culture. I’m not making that music, I’m not playing these pre-programmed sets and I’m not throwing cake at people.” Check out the video.

Now this is something that we should see more often of the people that made this music popular. A lot of djs care more about the popularity instead of the actually music and that’s missing the whole point. Now like everybody I think there should be love and unity but it cannot always be “Kum ba yah” let’s be all friends. It’s a little bit like politics just because a lot of people voted for you does not mean that everybody likes you or that you’re doing a good job.
