This Year Electric Island had a few issues with the usual location so a change of location was needed and once it did they pulled one of the best 2 day festivals.
The lineup was pretty usual from what you expect from a festival of this caliber. But the local Toronto sound was pretty alive this year at the Moog stage. It was nice to see Toronto acts like AZARI being in the lineup although I would like to see more female local talent to spice things up.
To be honest I can write you the play by play of day 1 and 2, tell you what sets where amazing, what was the best and worst thing about the festival and whatnot. But that’s really not as exciting as being there. The atmosphere of the new venue feels special so much that I would definitely suggest making that site permanently. If you live on the east coast it’s hard to go to every event in the summer, but if you are traveling you should always check out Electric Island summer calendar it’s definitely a great time.
