For release number 6 we are delighted to welcome our good friend Citizen back to the W&O Street Tracks family and along with him a producer we’ve had our eye on for sometime, Joe Ashworth. Kicking off the EP we have ‘Situation’, a deep tribal house track featuring vocalist Shona Carmen that evokes the spirit of legendary clubs such as NY’s Sound Factory whilst still sounding totally fresh and original. Stripped back without any unnecessary frills or flourishes, it’s a masterclass in soulful yet simultaneously jacking house music.
