Duo Bells and Robes is excited to announce the release of their new EP Pleasures of Mind just in time for their highly anticipated performance at next weekend’s revered Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival in Okeechobee, FL. The duo is comprised of Dean Spaniol on drums and samples and Luke Sipka on the keyboard. Pleasures of Mind is a follow up to the duo’s 2016 EP release How Could We Have Known, and marks the duo’s fourth EP release. First formed in 2012, Bells and Robes has gained momentum in the southeast over the past few years putting out a steady stream of solid releases and making notable appearances at festivals such as Imagine Festival and Suwannee Hulaween alongside artists such as Emancipator, ODESZA, and Papadosio. Combining the best elements of bass music, jazz, experimental electronica, ambient chillwave, house music, and classical, Bells and Robes proves their talents and range on their creative and forward thinking five-track EP. Pleasures of Mind is the perfect mix of electronic and organic elements resulting in an auditory bliss that is fresh, innovative, and captivating. Pleasures of Mind features guest performances from talented saxophonist Clark Smith (Dynohunter), R&B producer Animal Prince, and Nashville based band The Delta Troubadours.
