After a 17 month break from releasing music on her label, Swedish DJ/producer La Fleur is pleased to announce the release of her ‘Aphelion’ EP out on her Power Plant Records on March 15, 2019.

Launching Power Plant Records in 2010 as a passion project, the label has been a chance for La Fleur to explore her artistic passions, free from any creative constraints. Now after a brief hiatus from releasing on her imprint, La Fleur is buoyed by the plans set for the label in 2019. Refusing to put any deadline to her creative process, the ‘Aphelion’ EP began to take form towards the end of 2017.

Maintaining her connection with her Nordic roots, La Fleur secured the talents of respected Swedish-French designer David Karcenti to create the cover for her latest EP, ‘Aphelion’, after the artist first worked with Power Plant during its conception, designing the original logo. His beautiful sleek design grounded with nature makes a perfect accompaniment to La Fleur’s original work.

A previous resident at renowned Berlin nightclub Watergate, La Fleur was named a Mixmag Breakthrough Artist of 2017. Over the last few years, her meteoric rise has seen her music chartered on some of underground dance music’s finest labels including Knee Deep in Sound, Last Night On Earth, Watergate Records, and soon-to-be on Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels. She’s also had tracks remixed by some of America’s finest producers: Kenny Larkin and Carl Craig and she was even invited to remix house legend Kerri Chandler in 2014. Following a stellar 2018 which saw her collaborate with Sasha on their “Forbindelse” track out on his much revered label Last Night On Earth, La Fleur also made her acclaimed Essential Mix debut as well as her first ever Cercle set where she played in the unique venue L’Aerosol in Paris — a since shuttered temple for street art. Having previously played Adam Beyer’s Drumcode Festival, La Fleur has also graced the decks at Morocco’s Oasis Festival, Melt Festival, Warehouse Project, and will also play at this year’s editions of Sonus Festival and Creamfields UK at the All Gone Pete Tong stage. Soon to make her debut at Ultra Music Festival Miami on Resistance Island on March 30, the Swedish talent is without a doubt hitting her stride as one of house and techno’s most exciting artists to watch.
