A new project from French producer Lifelike and British producer Neil Curtis, Pacific State sees the two explore their fascination with Acid House, Rave and Techno from the golden era of Global Hypercolour T-shirts, tearful Gazzas and illegal raves in fields.
Using vintage synths and an Atari ST for total verisimilitude the debut Pacific State release, ‘1990’, perfectly captures the spirit and joie de vivre of the time. No mere pastiche though it’s a solid club track already finding favour with some of 2017’s best DJs like Erol Alkan and Tim Sweeney.
