Summer festival season is the best season!!! We can go out, party all night, get hot weather and of course great music. In the Maritimes ravers crave for this time of year. Evolve, Midsummer Madness and Future Forest Festival are the most popular among the electronic crowd (check out the martime festival life article), but in the last few years whit all the edm craze Northern New Brunswick is leading the pack when it comes to this type of events. They produce smaller festivals and like most Maritime festivals its mostly local talent. Check out some that we have listed.

Fairyland & Acadianland (Edmundston NB)

acadianland

This is a series of events hosted by Rehab Night its mostly provincial djs but the show is full Lights, Foam, Paint, Dancers, Screens and the whole 9 yards. You are going to hear Mostly bouncy electro and popular edm tracks but you are definitely going to see a hell of a show. Its something that you will get the most bang for your buck and something worth traveling for.

What started out as a private gathering in 2011 has evolved through the years to slowly take shape and become one of the biggest EDM events in Northern New Brunswick. After taking a break in 2014, we have decided to come back with a bang this year and organize a fully official electronic music festival. This is the third installment of this event its has a pretty good lineup this year.

Moncton’s TBA Collective is celebrating its seventh year of Messtival, a mess of local art, music and culture. The event promises a wide variety of music from all around the Maritimes and central Canada, promoting artists, musicians, entertainers and local foods in a beautiful rural setting complete with camping and swimming.  This festival is not a full electronic festival but it does have some electronic acts that you can check out.
