Nostrave is a trio of dj producers from Ottawa Ontario consisting of Michael, Steven & Ray. I first meet them at the Acadianland festival in Edmundston NB. We did a brief Q&A with them about their origins and music.
How did you guys meet?
Well my brother and I used to rent out these halls where we threw these huge parties and we met Ray threw a mutual friend at one of those parties and kept in contact. Then we realized we all shared the same passion for this music.
Where does the name Nostrave comes from?
The name Nostrave came from a Bulgarian friend of ours , it is used as a common toast meaning to good health or simply Cheers!
What’s your biggest accomplishment so far?
I would say our biggest accomplishment so far is probably having toured around Europe and having the opportunity to play the biggest festival in northern Europe (Weekend Festival)
What are your future plans?
Our plans for the future are releasing more music for the fans to get to share our music with as many people as possible throughout the world.
